The Seattle area Critical Care Consortium is supported by the Mountain to Sound Chapter of the AACN.  The Consortium partners with local healthcare organizations to offer high quality education to prepare nurses for the critical care and progressive care environments. 

The consortium courses are now open to non-members with below fees:

2018 Critical Care Consortium Dates

ECG Courses: offered with the consortium and as a stand alone classes

  • Summer 2 Day ECG Course: 8/15 & 8/22 @ UW Tower, Seattle, WA

  • Fall 2 Day ECG Course: 10/17 & 10/24 @ Swedish, Cherry Hill Campus, Seattle, WA

Critical Care Consortium: Offered three times per year in the spring,                                                              summer and fall

  • Summer: 8/17, 8/24, 8/28, 8/31, 9/5 and 9/7 @ UW Tower, Seattle, WA

  • Fall: 10/19, 10/26, 11/5, 11/7, 11/12 and 11/14 @ Swedish, Cherry Hill Campus, Seattle, WA

  Summer Consortium Daily Class Content:

  ​Day 1 (PCC/CCC) - ABG Interpretation, Common Respiratory Problems and ACS

  Day 2 (PCC/CCC) - Fluid and Electrolyte Balance, CV Drugs and IV Infusions, Heart                                Failure, Delirium and Withdrawal

  Day 3 (PCC/CCC) - Stroke and Seizure, Liver Failure, Emergency Response, Acute                                  Kidney Injury and Glycemic Control

  Day 4 (CCC) - Hemodynamics, Pharmacologic Manipulation of Hemodynamic
                      Parameters, Shock and MODS

  Day 5 (CCC) - Airway Management / Mechanical Ventilation, ARDS, Pain,                                         Sedation & NMBA management for mechanically ventilated patients,                           CNS Infection and Tumors, ICP and CSF

  Day 6 (CCC) - ICU Survivorship, DI/SIADH, Coagulopathies, GIB and Palliative                                 Care/End of Life
