The Seattle area Critical Care Consortium is supported by the Mountain to Sound Chapter of the AACN.  The Consortium partners with local healthcare organizations to offer high quality education to prepare nurses for the critical care and progressive care environments. 

The consortium courses are now open to non-members with below fees:



2018 Critical Care Consortium Dates

ECG Courses: offered with the consortium and as a stand alone classes

  • January 3 day ECG Course: 1/30, 2/5 & 2/13 @ Northwest Hospital & Medical Center,                                         Seattle, WA
  • Winter/Spring 3 day ECG Course: 3/1, 3/9 & 3/21 @ Overlake Hospital &                                                                   Medical Center, Bellevue, WA
  • Spring 2 Day ECG Course: 5/9 & 5/16 @ Swedish, Cherry Hill campus, Seattle, WA
  • Summer 2 Day ECG Course: 8/15 & 8/22 @ UW Tower, Seattle, WA



Critical Care Consortium: Offered three times per year in the spring,
                                             summer and fall

  • Winter/Spring: 2/27, 3/6, 3/16, 3/23, 3/27 & 3/29 @ Overlake Hospital & Medical                              Center, Bellevue, WA

  • Summer: 8/17, 8/24, 8/28, 8/31, 9/5 and 9/7 @ UW Tower, Seattle, WA

  • Fall: dates will be available soon


  Daily Class Content:

  ​Day 1 (PCC/CCC) - ABG Interpretation, Common Respiratory Problems, Fluid and                                    Electrolyte Balance, Acute Kidney Injury

  Day 2 (PCC/CCC) - ACS, CV Drugs and IV Infusions, Heart Failure and Glycemic
                            Control

  Day 3 (PCC/CCC) - Delirium, ETOH Withdrawal, Liver Failure, Storkes & Sz, Pancreatitis
                            and Emergency Response

  Day 4 (CCC) - Hemodynamics, Pharmacologic Manipulation of Hemodynamic
                      Parameters, GIB & Coagulopathies

  Day 5 (CCC) - Airway Management / Mechanical Ventilation, ARDS, Pain and
                      Sedation, CNS Infection and Tumors, ICP and CSF

  Day 6 (CCC) - DI/SIADH, ICU Survivorship, Palliative Care/EOL, Shock & MODS
